Welcome to Ace Procedures
Thank you for visiting the Ace Procedures website. The fact that you have done so is likely to mean that you are interested in learning more about how to establish a set of procedures which will help you to run your company more efficiently.
Let me say from the start that the service I provide will be of most interest to small to medium sized companies. These are the types of organisations that will benefit most from having formal procedures but currently find it difficult to allocate sufficient time or manpower to develop them.
This view is based upon years of experience in visiting companies of all sizes, from sole traders to international conglomerates, throughout the U.K. and mainland Europe in my roles as a Quality Assurance manager for an international motor company based in Europe and more recently as a training advisor for an FE college in the West Midlands.
Time and time again I have found that smaller companies are under constant pressure to satisfy their customers with a staff that is working to capacity. There is no opportunity to step back and simply write up a set of procedures to adequately describe the nature of the various functions and how to carry them out with maximum efficiency.
Overall, customers are being satisfied and a profits being made, because, otherwise the company would not still be in business. However, there is no doubt that there would be fewer customer complaints and larger profits if everyone in the company was working to carefully and clearly set out procedures for each function. Such a regime would ensure that all employees were using the same set of ‘hymn’ sheets.
This is what I can do for you: -
- Take an objective view of all your key processes using my extensive
experience, gained from observing similar processes in other companies.
- Produce a flow chart for each key process.
- Produce detailed procedures where required.
- Train employees to use the flowcharts and procedures.
Costs
Each job is different so it is difficult to provide an accurate guide here but I am confident that you will be pleasantly surprised at how much efficiency can be gained for relatively little cost. You have got nothing to lose by asking for a quote.
ISO9001 - If your company is already approved to ISO9001 you will find that any procedures that I produce for you will dovetail very well with your current quality management system. If your company is not yet ISO9001 approved, any procedures that I produce for you will provide a sound platform upon which to build your application.
Business Mentor - If you are just establishing your company or undertaking a re-evalution exercise and not yet ready to commit to a set of management procedures, then have a look at my Business Mentor page, there maybe a subject that you would like to discuss with me.
Health and Safety - I am sure that I do not have to tell you how important Health & Safety is to your company. Non compliance with the various acts of law can be costly and can adversly affect the future of your business. So, even if you are only able to commission one procedure at this time I recommend it to be one dedicated to Risk Assessment.
I look forward to hearing from you and being of help to your company in the near future.
With best wishes,
